You don't need to rush to name it. 

Sometimes we can feel pressure to turn a stirring into an answer: a calling, a message, a new direction or something we need to do. 

But perhaps the first invitation is simply to draw closer to the Lord and pay attention. 

Bring what you are noticing before Him. Open Scripture. Pray. Listen. Allow yourself to remain curious without needing to decide where the stirring will lead. 

You might ask:  Father, what are You inviting me to notice? 

And then give yourself permission to walk with that question for a while. 

You may begin to recognise something as you continue seeking Him. Or the Lord may direct your attention somewhere you had not expected. 

You don't need the whole picture to faithfully respond to what He places before you today.

You don't need to have your calling figured out before you can walk faithfully with the Lord. 

Questions such as What is God calling me to do? Where am I meant to serve? What has He entrusted to me? can feel important — especially when you sense there may be more ahead but cannot yet see what it is. 

But there is a deeper place to begin. 

With Christ Himself. 

Before calling becomes something to define or an assignment becomes something to pursue, our first and enduring calling is to Christ — to belong to Him, know Him, love Him, remain in Him and follow Him. 

Jesus said: “Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4 

So perhaps you don't need to begin by asking the Lord to show you the whole picture. 

You might begin here: Lord, how are You inviting me to walk with You in this season? 

As you remain close to Him, open Scripture, pray, listen and faithfully respond to what He places before you, there is room for other things to become clearer in His timing. 

You can walk faithfully with Christ even while some of your questions remain unanswered. 

If questions about calling, your story, how God has created and prepared you, or what He may have placed within your care keep returning, The Steward's Formation Roadmap creates space to walk those questions with Him.

There may be seasons of your life you would rather forget. 

Years that seemed unproductive. Opportunities that did not unfold as you hoped. Seasons of waiting, hiddenness, disappointment or difficulty that appear to have little connection with where you are now. 

It can be easy to look back and conclude: That was wasted. 

But before you decide those years had no value, perhaps there is an invitation to look again — with the Father. 

Not to force meaning onto every experience. Not to assume that everything painful happened because God was preparing you for a particular assignment. And not to make your story the centre. 

But to remember with Him. 

Where was the Lord faithful? What did you learn about His character? How did He sustain you? What has He taught you through His Word? What wisdom, compassion or understanding has grown over time? Are there threads you can recognise now that you could not have recognised then? 

Perhaps what you have been calling disqualification, the Father has been using as formation. And perhaps some parts of your story remain unfinished. You don't have to make them mean something they do not. 

But neither do you have to dismiss them simply because you cannot yet see how they belong. 

Before you decide those years were wasted, perhaps ask the Father what He was doing in them.

Sometimes we recognise something before we can articulate it. 

There may be a conviction you keep returning to. Something the Lord has been teaching you through His Word. Wisdom that has grown through years of experience. A testimony of His faithfulness. Or perhaps several threads you can sense belong together, but you do not yet have language for what you are recognising. 

You don't need to force the words. 

And you don't need to rush to turn what you are noticing into a message, framework or something to share publicly. 

Perhaps the invitation is to remain with the Lord a little longer. Return to Scripture. Notice what keeps resurfacing. Write down the words, Scriptures, questions, experiences or recurring convictions that seem significant. 

And ask: Father, what are You inviting me to recognise more clearly before I try to explain it? 

Articulation often becomes clearer as recognition deepens. 

And when the words do begin to come, the aim is not simply to make them compelling or memorable. 

It is to give faithful language to what has genuinely been recognised. 

The Steward's Formation Roadmap intentionally creates space for this journey — first recognising with the Father, then learning to articulate what has become clearer.

You don't need a perfectly articulated message before you can bear witness to Christ. 

Throughout Scripture, we see people simply telling others what God has done. 

The psalmist says: “Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul.” — Psalm 66:16 

Your testimony may begin there. 

What have you come to know about Jesus? Where have you recognised the Lord's faithfulness? What has His Word been teaching you? How has knowing Christ changed the way you understand something you have walked through? 

Your testimony does not need to be dramatic to matter. 

And you do not need a platform, a ministry, a podcast or a large audience to share it. 

Faithful witness may happen in a conversation with a friend, around your kitchen table, with a neighbour, in your workplace, church or community — wherever the Lord has placed you. 

For some Stewards, as they continue walking with the Lord, a more particular message, conviction or body of wisdom may also begin to emerge. 

But you don't need to manufacture one. 

Begin with Christ. 

Remember what He has done. Remain attentive to His leading. 

And when He gives you an opportunity, be willing to faithfully bear witness to Him.

Before beginning with the business plan, podcast equipment or practical strategy, perhaps begin by bringing the desire itself before the Lord. 

A business or podcast can become a meaningful way of serving others and faithfully expressing something God has placed within your care. But they are forms of expression. They are not the place we need to begin. 

You might ask: Lord, what are You asking me to steward — and is this one of the ways You are inviting me to express it? 

Remain with Him around that question. What has He been bringing to your attention? Who are the people you sense called to serve?

Is there a testimony, conviction, wisdom, experience or particular work that you believe He may be asking you to carry? And what would faithfulness look like before questions of visibility, growth or reach enter the conversation? 

If podcasting is one of the expressions you are considering, there is a principle I have carried for many years: 
Message BEFORE Microphone. 

No amount of equipment, production, marketing or visibility can compensate for being unclear about what you are there to communicate and whom you are there to serve. 

Today, I would take that principle even deeper. 

Before Message BEFORE Microphone comes Christ. Communion before communication. Stewardship before strategy. 

And then, if the Lord continues to lead you toward a business, podcast or another practical expression, there is a place for learning the skills, structures and strategies that can help you steward it well. 

Over time, specialised equipping may become available within Entrusted Steward Academy in areas such as business, podcasting and communication. 

But the practical equipping remains secondary. 

First, stay close to Christ. Discern what He is asking you to steward. Then allow the expression to serve the stewardship.

Perhaps. 

You don't need to have every part of your story resolved before you can walk closely with Christ or faithfully steward what He places within your care. 

At the same time, there may be seasons when healing, restoration, rebuilding trust or simply remaining close to the Lord needs more of your attention than trying to understand what may come next. 

The Steward's Formation Roadmap will invite you to look again with the Father at your story — including experiences through which you have learned, grown and been shaped. 

But it is not a healing program. 

Nor will it ask you to turn painful experiences into a message, find a purpose for every difficult season, or assume that what you have walked through was preparation for a particular assignment. 

So rather than asking whether you are "ready enough" for the Roadmap, perhaps a gentler question is: 
Father, what needs my attention in this season? 

If you find yourself continually returning to questions about what the Lord has placed within your care, how He has created you, what you are beginning to recognise or how you might faithfully respond, the Roadmap may provide a helpful place to walk those questions with Him. 

If healing and restoration need your attention first, there is freedom to honour that too. 

Cave to Calling offers conversations for women walking through seasons of hurt, hiddenness, healing, restoration and preparation, continually pointing back to Christ and His faithfulness. 

And for some women, Prophetic Pioneers Alliance may provide an appropriate community in which to continue healing, rebuilding trust, walking closely with the Lord and preparing to faithfully respond as He leads — particularly those who sense He may be calling them as prophetic pioneers. 

There is no required pathway. 

The invitation is simply to prayerfully consider what would most faithfully serve the season you are in.

No. 

Prophetic Pioneers Alliance and Entrusted Steward Academy serve different places and needs within the wider journey. 

Some women may encounter Prophetic Pioneers Alliance during a season of healing, restoration and preparation — particularly those who sense the Lord may be calling them as prophetic pioneers and desire to continue growing in discernment and walking closely with Him. 

For some, ESA may later become an appropriate place to continue learning how to recognise, articulate, faithfully express and steward what the Lord has placed within their care. 

But PPA is not a prerequisite for Entrusted Steward Academy. 

Many Stewards will come directly to ESA, and many will never need PPA at all. 

There is no required pathway you need to complete before beginning The Steward's Formation Roadmap. 

If you are unsure which environment may be most appropriate for the season you are in, perhaps bring the question before the Lord: Father, where does my attention most need to be in this season?

You don't need to enrol in a program to remain part of the conversation. 

Perhaps you are still discerning. Perhaps something you have encountered here has caused you to pause, look again or begin asking questions you want to continue bringing before the Lord. Or perhaps this simply isn't a season for another program. 

The Beacon is a place to stay connected while continuing to walk with Him. 

Through Scripture, reflections, questions Stewards are asking, podcast conversations and carefully chosen resources, The Beacon offers a regular invitation to pause, return your attention to Christ and consider what the Father may be inviting you to notice. 

There is no expectation that you need to move from The Beacon into something else. 

Receive what serves this season. 

Keep listening. 

And continue walking with the Lord as He leads.
